Serving Resilience Therapy Group

A Supportive Space & Mental Health Haven for Food Service Workers

In the hustle of the food service industry, we understand the unique challenges you face as a person and food service industry worker. Serving Resilience is a therapy group for food service workers.

This in-person group is co-facilitated by Katelyn (Katy) Grusecki from TASC Psychology and Kayla Easland from Woodfire Counseling. It includes supportive interactions and skill development, as we delve into topics specific to food service industry workers.

Offering camaraderie and support, it’s a place where where resilience meets support and shared experiences transform into shared strength.

Some of the most comforting words in the universe are “me too” —That moment when you find out your struggle is also someone else’s struggle or experience, that you’re not alone & that others have been down the same road.

The Group Recipe

Serving Resilience is a weekly, in-person and semi-structured group will be co-facilitated by clinicians. Sessions will be both process-oriented and skill-based, depending on the topic and needs of the groups and it’s members. This means that we will focus on and discuss individual and shared experiences and support each other. Our group integrates relevant concepts or strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness Based Therapies including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
